The popular tourist guide "Lonely Planet" has compiled a list of places for budget adventures during spring all around the world. The list includes 10 countries.

“Combining shoulder-season prices with decent weather in many parts of the world, May offers a lot to travelers. So whether you’re seeking wildlife encounters, a cultural soiree, an intrepid journey or a destination that won’t break the bank, there’ll be something in this month’s round-up that’ll rouse your wanderlust.” - note the authors.

From the central Italian region of Abruzzo to Komodo Island in Indonesia, from "Iceberg Valley" in Newfoundland, Canada, to the Silk Road cities of Uzbekistan, each country is preparing a host of surprises and adventures for the unsophisticated traveler who chooses inexpensive and affordable tours.

In Uzbekistan, Lonely Planet offers to enjoy the colorful cites of the ancient Silk Road: caravanserais, ancient cities, oriental spices.

The travel guide offers to plunge into the spring extravaganza of the popular ancient cities of our country - Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, which sparkle with mosaic mausoleums, mosques and madrassas and literally breathes history. Visit the traditional Silk and Spice Festival in Bukhara at the end of May, annually presenting a unique cultural heritage, showcasing carpet weaving masters, artisans, musicians and artists who still practice their skills, passed on to them through generations.

May is an ideal month to visit Uzbekistan. The temperature on average ranges from 20 ° C, and these are the best weather conditions for travel and excursions. The blossoming of tulips and apricots at this time only enlivens the picturesque landscapes.

Moreover, the travel guide presented the top 11 must-visit sights of Uzbekistan for traveling during spring. This included permanent tourist leaders: the cities of Samarkand with Registan Square, the mausoleums of Gur-Emir, Shakhi-Zinda and bibikhanym madrasah, Bukhara with the legendary ensemble poi-Kalon, ark fortress and Chor-minor madrasah, as well as Khiva with the fortress of Ichan-kala and the minaret of Kalta-minor. Among the tourist novelties are the region of the Fergana Valley - Kokand with the legendary Khudoyarkhan Palace, the Termez Archaeological Museum in Surkhandarya region and the unique fortress of ancient Khorezm - Ellikkala in Karakalpakstan.
